Talk about the challenges to voting and what the major hurdles are that may stand in someone’s way. Is it lack of ID? Is it being intimidated as a voter? Is it a generational impact that has affected one’s family? Having the discussion is step 1 in voter engagement work.
Make sure everyone you know has a transportation plan for how they plan to get to their polling place. Check with your city's public transportation services or ride services to see if they offer free or discounted transportation on Election Day (many do!).
