As an organization, Our Vote Texas has worked for the past six years to promote and provide helpful voter education information + voter rights advocacy in our home state.

It has been a labor of love, commitment and dedication that has been entirely run by volunteers.

We wanted to make it known that the Our Vote Texas Board of Directors and OVT President have made the decision to move forward in our own work as a community advocacy effort which means that by the end of this year, Our Vote Texas will dissolve as a designated 501(c)(3) organization.

This is not an end to our efforts to speak out for Texas voters. We will continue to make voter information available on our website as well as continue to offer those resources in a format suitable for download. And equally as important, we will continue amplifying the work of voting rights organizations and leaders in the state of Texas for many years to come.

We thank you for your support over the years and for fighting with us for Texas voters at every opportunity. As we shift into this next phase, we look forward to continuing that work with you to champion the Texas vote.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE MONTHS TO COME:

Our Vote Texas will begin winding down certain projects and completing our final annual report which will be published by end of 2023.

We will also continue to post voter resources here on the website through 2024.

We thank you again and we look forward to finding new ways to advocate alongside you.
