Learning About Art Throughout Protest History

Art has long played a pivotal role in movements that have challenged government, politics and social issues worldwide. Through our Project Civic Act, today we’re presenting a lesson unit intended to engage students in discussions about the history of art in political and social movements as well as how art continues to mobilize communities and causes today!

The goal of Project Civic Act continues to be providing an ever evolving collection of resources for educators and students to help promote new and strong approaches to civics education and whole history.
