TPAN Launches Project Civic Act
Today Texas Progressive Action Network launches Project Civic Act, a curated collection of learning resources and tools for Texas educators to bring into the classroom as our nation shifts old approaches to civic education and traditional discussions of history.
From the fundamentals of how local government works, the democratic process, to voting, to fights for fair representation, Project Civic Act focuses on underrepresented perspectives and a more complete framework for local and national civic engagement as well as movement building.

Part of TPAN’s longstanding mission to help build that culture of civic engagement means we must continue the work of education and outreach for the next generation of civic leaders and voters.
We will continue to add resources to the project and work to ensure that Texas educators have access to as many helpful tools as possible going forward into the 2020-2021 school year and beyond.
