Our Vote Texas Proudly Partners For The March On For Voting Rights
This month marks the 58th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech and democracy advocates across the country will be joining the historic March On For Voting Rights demonstrations happening in multiple cities.
On Saturday, August 28th, March On For Voting Rights events will take place in multiple cities in Texas as we keep up the demand for Congress to act by passing federal voting rights legislation that ensures our freedom to vote.
UPDATE 8/25/2021: Because of the current COVID surge we're battling in Texas, it's important for us to prioritize community safety first and foremost. Therefore the March for Voting Rights demonstrations slated to occur this weekend in multiple cities in Texas are being POSTPONED but our advocacy isn't letting up.
